Fastosi Sheet Extrusion Lines
Fastosi designs and supplies high-technology sheet extrusion lines engineered for the production of thick flat semi-finished sheets in a wide range of industrial plastics and advanced engineering polymers.
The sheet extrusion process demands millimeter-level thickness control across the entire usable width, ensuring flat surfaces free of optical defects or residual structural stress, ready to be shaped, thermoformed, or CNC-machined.
All our sheet extrusion lines can be equipped with a hydraulic pressing unit that allows for rapid thickness changes. Furthermore, they are fitted with an in-line annealing oven necessary for the automatic cutting of extruded products.
Sheets can be extruded in thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 200 mm, with standard widths of 620 mm, 1000 mm, and 1250 mm.
Our industrial lines are configured to process commodity polymers as well as special engineering plastics. We successfully extrude sheets in PE (Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), PA6, PA66, POM-C, and POM-H, ideal for general mechanical engineering.
In the advanced polymer segment for critical applications, Fastosi lines guarantee excellent performance with PEEK, ULTEM, PEI, PPS, PPSU, PSU, and PBT. Transparency and impact resistance are assured through PC sheet extrusion, while absolute chemical resistance is covered by our solutions for the fluoropolymer sector, producing sheets in PVDF, PFA, ECTFE, and PCTFE intended for chemical plant construction and industrial tank lining.
All materials can be filled and reinforced with glass fibers, carbon fibers, Teflon, graphite, and other additives.
Geographically and strategically, Fastosi targets major international plastic converters, delivering flexible, high-productivity equipment.
